People with restricted mobility
The railway station in Wernigerode is barrier-free. There is step-free access directly to the tracks. Access to the wheelchair-accessible toilets is possible from platform 1. Access from Feldstraße is via a ramp and a lift.
The bus station is located in the immediate vicinity of the main railway station. There are connections to the regional bus services and the city buses. The Harzer Verkehrsbetriebe information office is accessible via a ramp. There is a wheelchair-accessible toilet next to the information office.
Visually impaired & blind people
Guide lines for the blind are available on the platforms and in the direction of the bus platforms.
