Winter sports in Wernigerode

Tobogganing, ice skating, ski jumping, downhill skiing or cross-country skiing on the Harz trails - everything is possible during a winter holiday in the Harz Mountains.
Our great Eldorado of winter sports opportunities can of course be found in our district of Schierke, situated below the Brocken. An overview and up-to-date information on snow conditions and the state of the cross-country ski trails in the region around Schierke can be found on the Schierke website.

Other winter sports activities in our district include ice skating in the Schierker Feuerstein Arena, various toboggan runs, winter hiking trails and snowshoe hikes through the snow-covered Harz Mountains.
